Trafficking/Child Immigration

Trafficking is an extremely horrendous illegal trade. Trafficking is the use of force, fraud, or coercion to exploit human beings for labor, services or commercial sex activities. Trafficking commonly, but not always, involves transporting vulnerable victims from their home country to a second country where the individuals are under the control of the traffickers due to immigration status, linguistic challenges and geographic isolation. LCFS serves and helps survivors of trafficking through the Unaccompanied Refugee Minor Program.
