Senior Centers

Philadelphia Corporation for the Aging and Lutheran Children and Family Service operate two dynamic senior programs in Philadelphia!

The West Philadelphia Senior Community Center is the first senior center to be built in the city in over 30 years. Located in a spacious, beautiful facility at 1016 N. 41st Street, at the corner of Poplar and 41st, the West Philadelphia Senior Community Center is fully outfitted with state-of the-art educational, recreational, and computer equipment. The Center offers a daily lunch program plus a wide range of individual and group activities, classes, clubs, health and wellness services, educational programs, transportation assistance and much, much more.

We invite you to stop by, join our free membership program and discover for yourself the experiences our active 50 or older adult members are enjoying today! All you need is identification, proof of your residence in Philadelphia, and proof of your age.  For more information, please contact WPSCC at 215-386-0379 or Pat Stanley.

The Olney Senior Program, funded by the Philadelphia Corporation for Aging (PCA), has operated at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Olney since 1984. Members can choose from a wide range of activities and services including: counseling services, health screenings, exercise classes, computer instruction, Tai Chi, intergenerational programming, craft-making and gardening activities. In addition, a light breakfast and mid-day meal are provided Monday through Friday.

You’re invited to come out and join this multicultural community senior program, have fun and meet new friends!  For more information about the Olney Senior Program, please call 215-424-4807 or contact Pat Stanley.
