If you wish to take your Driver’s Test and require an interpreter you need to be prepared.
To prepare for a PA Driver's License Test, please complete the following steps:
1. Go to the nearest PennDOT location to get a PA Driver's Manual or download this manual here, which contains all of the information covered on the test.
2. Study the manual. Our interpreters will not provide answers, so it is not possible to pass the test without studying!
3. Make sure that you have completed your physical and have all necessary documents. For information on required documents, listed by immigration status, click here.
4. Contact Althea Norton at our office (215-747-7500 ext. 231) to request service.
5. You will be connected with one of our interpreters.
6. Before taking the official test, you must first come to our office to take a practice test in your native language.
7. If you pass the practice test, you will then pay a $95 fee (money order or check) and will be given a letter that allows you and your interpeter to go to PennDOT where you will take the official Driver's exam.
