Barbara Woods
Barbara Woods, who you may know as the voice on most of Lutheran Children and Family Service’s (LCFS) answering machines, is retiring after 21 years with LCFS. Barbara worked as Administrative Assistant for LCFS and was responsible for managing contracts with funders, such as the Department of Human Services. Barbara’s favorite part was learning about all of the services that LCFS provides. “It’s very rewarding to see that we really are helping,” she said. “I like the idea that I work for an organization that really does good work and really helps people. I’m proud to say that I work here.”
